Says they were from Commonwealth Bank, and that a transaction was made against my account and they wanted to confirm. However, I dont have a CBA account. They they changed tack and said they actually work with a lot of banks from Australia.

Think it was a telemarketer as a phone only 2 or 3 times, then cut out, and they left no message.

The phone was right next to me but didn't ring, ie straight to voicemail. Playing the message the recorded message claimed by phone service was 'not normal' and would be disconnected. Just add this number to your black list.

Strangest scammers that ever called, just started swearing at me and saying weird stuff then hung up. Thought it was more like a prank call but you could hear the scammy scummy call centre in the background

They didn’t leave a message this time - but I had a scam call from (supposedly) ANZ on a similar number less than an hour ago…

Scam call "Telstra account going to be cancelled" not even with Telstra.

Automated voice claiming to be from Vodafone. Immediately hung up in annoyance.
