Got nasty when I questioned why she was calling and refused to give personal information. Blocked and reported

Glad I checked here…I ran to pick up the call and answered just as it rang out. I’ve recently had a brain tumour discovered and have services and drs all potentially missed calls and afraid to miss one. Thanks to all you contribute to the page and reverse Australia so we don’t call back these increasingly harmless looking numbers :)

Persistent calls from this number. I didn’t pick up. The calls went to my voicemail for one second then hung up. Finally I called my and a recorded voice says “thanks for calling bill cutters….”. I hung up, block the number and report.

An unwelcome pain in the anonymous posterior. Report as Scam.

Like others received yet another unwanted and annoying spam call from yet another different number. But this won't stop me complaining to 'Do not call registry' since my number is listed with them.

Rang twice, tried to call back it just got holding music

This number leaves multiple blank messages a day for the past 2 weeks. Why the heck do blocked numbers go to voicemail? So not only do telcos turn a blind eye to spammers they allow them to leave blank messages? Unbelievable. We need network level blocking asap in Australia.

"thanks for calling billcutters, for all new inquiries press 1, for existing inquiries press 2" ... I pressed 2, and it said "unfortunately nobody is currently available to take your call, please leave a message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible"... So I called back and this time I pressed 2 and some degenerate answered, I gave him a mouthful and asked "dont you have any qualifications to pursue a respectable career... ringing up people and scamming them... your parents must be very proud"... and a few other choice words... and he hung up on me... go figure! Rude!

Lady called, Introduced herself as a company called "Deal Finder" and offered deals on electricity, Got really aggressive when i asked why they thought i cared.

Caller: Not sure, but it's connected to several other numbers that do the same repeated calling.

A scam. Continually call even when you ask them to stop. Don't bother blocking the number as they will just commence"harrassing" you on different, but similar numbers. Never leaves a message except ONCE yesterday which was completely blank in sound 🥴🙄

My work has received multiple calls from this number over the last 2 weeks and every time I pick up and announce myself, they end the call.
I am glad I checked here as I thought we were missing a potential sale.
Unfortunately, our system doesn't allow us to block or report any calls like this.

I finally spoke with someone, after they have called me 7 times a day for the last 2 weeks. As someone else mentioned, I am applying to jobs like crazy at the moment and am needing to be on top of calls and voicemails. Each time, they have called and left a blank voicemail, called and hung up without saying anything, or hung up on me when I tried to call back and leave a message. I finally answered and spoke to someone who told me they were calling regarding my electricity provider and that it would take 2-3 minutes of my time to ensure I was paying the best price and getting the best savings. I understand, I have worked for similar companies before, but when I answered with “I live with my parents and do not pay any bills, nor do I know who they are with” she responded with “still, maam, you can still speak on behalf of your parents and it doesn’t matter that you are not on the bills. I said “I am under 18 so I don’t pay and I don’t care” (not true, I also don’t live with my parents but I still don’t pay for electricity, I pay for water instead). She still persisted by saying it would be good for future and I said “I am not going to be paying any bills in the foreseeable future” and she still never let up. I had to demand not to be called again and hang up on her. We’ll see if I receive another call I guess.

They use lots of different numbers, fixed and mobile.

Caller: Billcutters apparently

Called the number back and left a message saying as I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER why keep calling ans reported with ACMA foe breach. It took me 10 calls and leaving same message that they appear to have finally stopped...for now!

It is credit corp. They want to get a recording of your voice for voice recognition on their system. They will try anything to get information from you and use it against you. Terrible people.
