Left text message to call ARL (?) on 1300 730 156 re NRMA Ref No. DN 10...........
Rang 1300 number, person asked me ID myself. I said I have no dealings with NRMA (true) and he should ID his company and himself first independently of his text. He backed right off......SCAM!!!

Same as others, received a text from ARL about Paypal. Blocked number

All private numbers and anyone who's number isn't in my phone, when they try to call the get cut off immediately, my phone security shows who had called. I've received a dozen email from PayPal saying there is a problem with my PayPal account and they are going to report it to the arl. I've ignored them all. Today they sent me a phone message saying the same as the emails had. Who ever they really are, they have a better chance of seeing a unicorn than any interaction with me.

Rang wanting my personal details. No, I said you rang me, who are you? He was very evasive but I finally dug ARL out of him. ARL who? Would not reveal why he called until he had my ID. I said now we have a Mexican standoff and I hung up. He rang back, I refused to answer. Now I don't answer any unrecognised number.
I may have been more helpful if he wasn't so rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. Number now blocked.
