Yes. They have called my business at least six times and when you return the call the number has been disconnected. Scum!!

Missed a call from 0481 258 750 so rang back. Apparently the number is disconnected, unsure how that is when the number called me not 1 minute earlier

Called today while we were out, and hung up. In dealing with scammers, we've had success asking Telstra's Unwelcome Calls 1800 805 996) to block their individual numbers. Since September last year they've blocked (02) 4965 8048, (03) 6108 0800, (03) 8862 3450, (03) 9244 1020, (03) 9610 4585, (03) 9610 4585, (07) 3017 3999, (08) 6228 4053, (08) 9463 2399, (08) 9472 1838, and (08) 9742 1219. Telstra will block up to 15 numbers for their customers. They can also put a block on all overseas calls if that option suits you. Doing both of those things in May 2015 gave us some relief but new parasites keep cropping up. All of the numbers mentioned above have numerous complaints on Reverse Australia.
After reading on this website that repeatedly pressing the # key after answering these calls can be beneficial, we started doing that. It seems to be working.
On 5 Feb 2016 Dennis complained about (02) 9675 7742 and mentioned using "Call Forward - Selected Callers" on scam calls. Great idea if you've got the right phone. Just forward them all to each other!!! Someone else mentioned a phone called a Telstra Guardian 301 that filters out the calls.

Confirmed all previous comments. Claimed to be from "Australian Institute of Research" (Nothing on Google). Their goal is to deliver you to one a number of financial services. Stockbroker, SMSF providers, etc. I challenged the poor chap over his integrity and he got all defensive...... Gee. Whoever they really are, they are not doing bonafide research and are simply telemarketers.

Have rung a number of times now, I returned the call with a mailbox full reply. Number now in my phone with do not answer as contact.

Called my home phone saying the were from Australian institute of research but then wanted to know details about myself that I wasn't prepared to give. Making out they are a research company so you assume it is just a survey. I hung up before having to listen to anymore dribble.

0481 258 750 has called my number every day and when you reply they hang up on you! I called the number back & their message bank was full! Wankers

got called by 0450 821 320 - 0450 821 320 calls me says her name is Judy from "Australian Institute of Research" that sounded like impersonating ISRO & the call was to provide "Information Only". Another one of those canvassing calls about superannuation and negative gearing. Beware of this scammer. Told them to delete me off their list as am on DNC register. They are randomly dialling numbers through a predictive dialler to see who will pick up and accept their garbage proposal about Investing in some hare brained scheme. Wankers!

This number calls me up to 10 times a day. When you call back.. message says this number is disconnected. Had to install a blocker for this number on my phone. Scumbag

Have had several calls from this number that I have deliberately missed. Decided to take the call today. He said he was from the Australian institute of research with a short survey & did I know about the 1st home buyers grant..I stopped him & said I was onto my 2nd house purchase. If he truely was from the Australian institute of research he should've done his research before calling my number!! Then he tried to tell me about possible tax benefits to reduce our mortgage...obviously a scam so I politely declined & hung up. Not happy, something didn't add up & I will be blocking this caller.

This number 0481 258 750 continues to call my mobile up to 6 times per day. This has been happening since 01/06/17. I do not answer to avoid scammers. Really wish they would go away.

I have the same problem as most of you they ring me I ignore call ring them back straight away & message says it's disconnected scammers...

I've had 0481 258 750 this number ring me numerous times. Always stupid times too. When I call the number back it says that it's disconnected and an Optus number.
