scammer. Gas company does not provide their phone number when they text you. They actually shows the name of the company.

Said it was Energy Australia and that I had not paid my last bill by the due date, and offered more time and instalments. It knew the value of the last bill (which I get on paper and had paid by the due date), and my account number. So where do they get the information from, and why aren't the police following up these phone numbers?
