Given that they present themselves as being part of multiple companies, institutes, etc. safe to assume it's just a scam. Do not reply or contact. Simply ignore or block if you can.

Caller: Social Research Centre I'm okay with this, it is legitimate research from university, not spam or scam, or a politician trying to convince me to vote for them. This is also very different from market research, where people sell the information you give them to advertising companies. Instead, this research will likely be used to inform decisions for the betterment of society.

I had coffee at a cafe and they made me sign some random social survey contract. I had no idea what it was but I only wrote my name and nothing else but somehow I received a text from this number saying I’m going to get a call for a survey in a few days. How they got my number is beyond me because I did not write anything in that form except my first name
