Twice in 2 days I have received this message:
Hi BEVERLEY, just a quick message to say thanks for choosing Telstra for your service. Do you realise that your most recent bill for $97.27 is now overdue. Simply visit telstra.com/paybill to pay now or Reply '1' if you need 6 days to pay.

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! My name is not Beverley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a scam, certainly not Telstra. Have confirmed with Telstra. Do no under any circumstances reply '1'.

Rcvd a message for "Jason" from Telstra that bill is overdue & to visit telstra website or reply '1' if you need 6 days to pay

Two sms messages in the last week for this number telling us our bill was overdue and providing a website to pay the bill at. Instructing us to text 6 or 1. The bad formatting of the sms alerted me that this might be a scam. How they got my name right, I'm not sure.

We have had two texts from this number telling us we had an overdue amount and to text 1 if we needed 6 extra days to pay. Thought it was rather odd that the amount they said was outstanding wasn't the amount of our bill.

Dodgy SMS pretending to be Telstra collecting overdue payments, Beware!!!
