This number tried to contact Telstra and take over my phone number. I received a genuine text message from Telstra saying that my number has been confirmed and changed as requested. I immediately contacted Telstra and told them that it wasn't me and I haven't given permission for anyone to act on my behalf to change anything or call in regards to my pre paid phone account. They took this seriously and will be reporting it to the Feds. Beware of this scam as this is a new phone I just bought last week and haven't given out my phone number to anyone so I knew when I got the text message from Telstra something was off. Telstra were fantastic and were on to it immediately!!

Caller ID showed the call was from a gas company but in reality it was a scam call from a fake NBN. I was told that my modem needed an upgrade in order to get a speed boost of up to 3 times faster than my current speed. Caller had a foreign accent and a good command of the English language. Ridiculous claim. Just hang up!

Caller ID Shows as Oil And Gas Limited, but the guy was talking about Coin Spot Crypto exchange. Tried to get me to give him my PW and 2FA
Line was bad but was a native english speaker making the call seem a lot more legitimate.
