Caller: McClean Accounting

I got caught out because it came from a mobile, so i called them back.

They wanted to check what our accountant is charging us and asking for an email address to send me information about overcharging by Accountants, and then when i politely declined, "one more question, we also offer insurance, when is your insurance due for renewal".

Ugghhh.. now they're even using mobiles...

They are sending texts from this number saying "You missed a call from 0480 039 687..etc" making it look like you actually missed a call.

You didn't!

This is just a scam text trying to make you call the number. Just report it as spam and block it.

Unsolicited call, didn't leave a message. About an hour later, I also got a call from a very similar number; 0480 039 683. Same thing, hung up without leaving a message

Thanks for the heads up - I got a missed call from this number today. Looks like I don't need to ring back LOL.
