Caller: Legal Assist Office QLD This Indian sounding person called stating that they were from Legal Assist Office - Queensland and stated that I had come into contact with a known COVID-19 patient and needed to get tested. They wanted a credit card number so they could send the test kit out to me. They were asked to re-state their company name and whom they were representing. They stated that they were the Legal Assist Office located in Queensland and represented a hospital. When I asked which hospital, they could not state what hospital this was. I asked for their ABN and address. They stated the mobile number which obviously is not the ABN number and kept pushing for my credit card number to pay for a so-called-test kit. They picked the wrong person because I am on the COVID-19 federal government hotline.

Just had a phone call from a “legal assist office as part of a hospital” in Queensland, stating that I was a known associate of someone who has “tested positive “ to Covid19. They wanted my credit card number to guarantee a test for the virus can get done for me. Dumb asses couldn’t tell me where in Queensland, asked them what the capital was and they couldn’t answer me, asked them for there ABN and they said it’s the number that showed up (a mobile I may add) then when I said that’s a mobile number not an ABN he says I’m sorry but I don’t know what that is! He kept insisting on the best interest of myself and family to order the test ASAP and wanted my info badly.

Caller: Insurance Scammer A female told me she was calling about a car accident that I had had in the last two years. My reply was "Darling, that scam is sooooooooo last year. You are a laughing stock among the general public. I suggest you get a real job, along some self respect, because you have no chance working for the mob you are working for".

Got a few seconds of silence before someone claimed they were calling as I had been in a car accident. Don't normally answer these but given the times thought it may have been work. When I said I couldn't talk, the caller asked when they could call back, Perth time. Clearly a scam as I am nowhere near Perth, blocked the number immediately.
