Caller: Domino's All the boomers here saying this is a scam lol, it is dominos letting you know your pizza is nearby, It is not a scan, just an automated FYI about your hopefully delicious pizza arriving in a minute or two. If you got this and you did not order pizza, someone probably entered your number by accident... relax :)

Why are people idiots

Caller: Domino’s For those saying it’s a scam - why would a scammer leave an automated message saying your pizza is on the way and hang up? What would they get out of that? You don’t confirm any personal details - you listen to the message and then it disconnects. Wow, some scam!

Caller: Dominos You just ordered your pizza from dominos and here you are sitting on your phat bottom watching the order progress. Then alas your phone rings wondering who it is....is it a scammer trying to "fix your windows", is it a telemarketer trying to sell you solar panels? No it's your friendly local dominos delivery driver telling you your pizza is nearly here so get your phat bottom to the door and get your pizza phat boy!!!

Caller: marketers Dominos collect your number to send you pizza updates. Then they sell your number info on to marketing data banks, then your number is farmed out to information buyers who send you a text or call you to sell/market whatever their business deals in. So yes, Dominos are involved, but it’s not necessarily them calling. As some have mentioned it can certainly look like the number belongs to the Dominos that your pizza may have been ordered from but in reality it’s a spoof of that number because you’re more likely to answer if you recognise the number from another time. And, as some phones are able to set up to block numbers which aren’t on your contacts or which have t been marked spam/block it enables their called to reach you more reliably than if they used a whole new number. So, everyone is right, but no one is actually correct. Choose your poison: comfortable ignorance or anxious vigilance.

Had a missed call from 0480 031 318 two times in 3 days. When you try call back, you cannot be connected as a message from Optus saying the number is disconnected. Plus they call 8pm or 10:30pm. Just to annoy you.

definitly a scam. even the comments saying its dominos look fake as sh*t, "Do not worry! It's just dominos letting You know your Hot Delicious Pizza is ready." Who tf speaks like that. Also I got a call and I never order from dominos, but my cousin did recently use my phone number to sign up for a bunch of free ipods he won by bring the 1000000th customer on a shady free roblox website so, you do the math.
