Part of a whole cluster of calls I received this week, all Australian mobile numbers beginning with 0480 or 0488 (and one with 0481). I never answer them as they're not known numbers to me, but they never leave a message and they almost always call at these times on a weekday: between 11am-midday, or between 16:00 - 17:30

Refused to continue the call until i confirm i was the named person they asked for
I refused to answer until they told me who the 'National Review Team' was and what they do

Caller then just hung up

They called me with a different name didn’t know who I was but trying to get my personal details. I hung up

Yes - I had the same Statement read to me. About the government cancelling insurance in Superfunds. Sounded like a scam and I said I’ll check with my fund manager - thanks and goodbye!

I didn’t pick up but they’ve called twice now. Once I called back and heard an automated voice message which sounded suspicious.

Also received missed calls from very similar numbers: ‭0480 024 766‬ and ‭0480 024 785‬

something about unclaimed super and wanting to go through a series of questions. told them I was all sorted and didned have any unclaimed super. they persisted, told them i was busy and have now blocked their number.

They have your first and last name and telephone number and ask lots of questions about receiving a letter from your super company, prying for more information about you and your situation.

Same as above, they have your name and number pretending to be the government calling about your superannuation fund.

I rang them back, Asian sounding woman wanted my to confirm they were speaking to me (they had my name)...
Wanted to talk to me about my super.
Sounded and made out exactly same as another scam attempt made on me recently
