They have your number and name, I called back and said my name is different. They then ask are you between 24-58 re Super as legislation has changed, I said I was 60, and they then said do you need a mortgage review

Marketing call about Superannuation. Sounds like an Indian Call Centre. 'Been calling me from multiple mobile numbers 0480 024 766 and 0480 024 762) everyday although I said I was not interested, and am on Do Not Call Register. Dodgy and annoying as.

These guys are a scam - do not give them any information. When I asked for what dept they work for they advised that they were a part of the National Review Team, would not provide an ABN or even the name of the company they are contracted to.

Said they were conducting a survey for COVID-19 affecting Australians. When I asked what company they were calling for they gave me some rambling about being a registered company but no company name. Person on the other end had an accent and could not tell me the company they worked for or were making calls on behalf of.

Wanted my full name and date of birth.

Repeated 04800 and 04888 calls. Some prank call(ring once and hang up) some Ive answered and get various bogus English names With Indian and African accents. One was for "my account" and the other was for "my favourite charity" both calling to check my credit card details were current. I don't hold a credit card. Blocked and reported to Optus.

Say they are doing COVID 19 Survey, they say they are carrying this survey out for the Govt. They know your name although I do not confirm my name and I instead say who are you, who are you, who are you and eventually they hang up although other recent callers yesterday are also calling from 0480 024 765 and 04800 24782 all callers so far have significantly foreign sounding accents and say they are doing COVID 19 Survey to report back to the Govt - Can someone (perhaps our Govt or the police) please take steps to pay attention to what we are providing to you in these numerous comments, to stop these people, organisations, whomever they are, to not only stop them but also to severely punish these callers financially and jail them as well.

Wanted to do a review on Covid 19. Im sure it was the same people calling a week or two ago from: National Review Team wanting to discuss Superannuation. First of all if i wanted to discuss anything i would call up myself. what im concerned about where the hell did they get name info from. I did answer with whos this so didnt say yes or no to the name said. Pisses me off that Im on the do not call register and i dont have the stupid covid 19 app. I hanged up but i could guarantee they will call me another day.

0480 024 774 called 29 April 2020 and today (1 May 2020). 0480 024 762 called yesterday (30 April 2020). No messages left and I don't answer unidentified numbers.
FYI I haven't downloaded the virus app (yet).

Called a few times a day since 16 Apr. National Reviews team about Super. How did they get my number. It's a nuisance.

Called me twice about superannuation asking if i was above the age of 25. Spam

The person claims they are doing a compliance check for superannuation insurance. I asked for their ACN. They gave me 636 436 747. I searched ASIC database and found they are registered as NATIONAL ADVICE SERVICE PTY LTD, a for-profit propriety limited company. I googled that name and found it was a financial advisory and consulting company with the website nationaladvicenetwork dot com. When I asked them to confirm they are registered as a for-profit company, the person refused to confirm it, though I didn't need them to confirm as that is how it is registered with ASIC. After pressing them to confirm their company registration details, they continued to imply they were some kind of "organisation", but I pressed, and they went silent and hung up without a word. So presumable they were trying to sell financial advise. Not sure how they got my name and number.

Questioned her about what review team and I said I didn't want to talk as it sounds like a scam and she hung up on me

Isn't there anything we can do to stop these scammers and nuisance callers?
