Missed call, phone says potential fraud

Tried to call back but call failed each time

Just got a call from this number and a hang-up as soon as the answering machine kicked in. Will these pests never stop?

Caller: Energy comparison offer

Indian telemarketer talking about offering energy comparisons.

Constant ringing in and never give me the opportunity to answer... Try ring back and fails..... Guessing it's spam

Just leaves empty message

Just got a call at 18:30 on the 27th of Jan 2021, the name of the person was David and mentioned energy company ... I politely said I am not interested and close the call.

No message left so assume scam.

Probably Scam.
Answered the call, a few sec lag sounds like typical offhshore scam call centre.
Talking about electricity rate changes from gov and asking me to check my rates and bill date, etc.
Hang off when I told them I will ring my energy supplier re the changes.

The information they had suggests Telstra sold personal contact information.

Cold call from a telemarketer, offering an energy comparison.
I said I’m not an account holder for any energy bills and asked for my number to be removed from their database. Blocked.

Just hang up when call picked up. No message left.

Picked up but they hang up

Missed calwill not pick up when called back

Picked up receiver, said "Hello", then again after a couple of seconds. No activity on other end, so I hung up - was not going to wait until the other end made connection.
Nuisance calls - will they just go away - a long, long way away!

They hung up when I answered

Knew my name and tried to tell me I have an electricity bill overdue. I just hung up the phone.

Must be a scam
