Scam for advertising never agreed to

Caller: James

Got a text saying my "auspost" package was unable to be delivered with a link to "reschedule" it
Since others mentioned James I assume it's the same scammers with a different scam

Caller: Someone named Owen from The Local Advertising Magazine.

Made claims that I agreed to advertise with them back in March - was nice at first - then got nasty and rude! I hung up on them straight away and blocked them!!!

Phoned trying to say that I ordered advertising trying to get my information creeps I blocked them - never agreed to!

James from Kids House Magazine. Trying to scam you out of money by telling you that you've already agreed to a publication and payment is now due.
Total and utter scam.

Same story as others - male caller from Kids Health Magazine - said I had approved advertising in Feb this year. I said I had no recollection of a phone call and no email from them. Kept ignoring my questions about what evidence they had for me approving advertising and told me he would send it through. Full on scam.

These c*nts wont stop ringing, yes using the same you agreed to pay for advertising in a children's magazine and then went back through paper work to prove I never signed up for and when confronted on the phone had no answers for me

Said was from Childrens Health Magazine and that he spoke to me in January where I agreed to an ad. Never spoke to them at all and only do things via confirmation emails which never happened. He then accused me of wasting his time when I said to cancel what ever he thought I had agreed to.
Total scam and time wasting for a business.

They called me to say they will send a Magazine my our address (sure, nothing wrong with that, right?).

Then a couple of months later they call again to say the artwork for the ad on the magazine is ready and that you have to pay $550 for the ad..

An ad I was never told about and never agreed to!!!!

Caller: Neighbourhood magazine

They said my magazine was ready that I agreed to sponsor( which I didn’t)!! They just call and say that you agreed to pay last year!!

Total scam!!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Claims to have prior approval for a magazine advertisement - false, do not trust (SA,VIC,NSW)

Sounds professional, total scam. This time they were from "Business Information Services" - when I asked them what that does they said Yellow pages and Telstra white pages. Wanted my mailing address. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AT ALL. I have this number written down from a patch of scam calls I received last year. That time they were calling from the Police Citizens Association.
