A lot of banter about being a Police Citizen community group fighting Ice. But wanted $$$$ for their magazine

Australian guy said he was from the AFP (Australian Federal police) Joked 'don't worry your not in trouble or anything', we noticed that you teach Yoga in your area and with all the mental health issues regarding Police and blah blah very convincing blah wanted to know if I wanted to place an advertisement in their AFP magazine, these were the costs and the sizes, don't worry won't be happening until end of Sept so you have a little while to decide, which one would I be interested. I replied, look send me an email with the details and I'll have a look at it. Repeated this again as I said I was at work and can't discuss. Didn't ask for an email and said no worries, will get that to you and call in a week's time. No email has appeared. There are no AFP Officers where I teach Yoga in regional WA.

Obviously got my home business name off Facebook and rambled on.

Kept on calling me. I proceeded to not answer but continued to call

The same as above. Said they were from Neigbourhood watch and wanted to include details for book. I said no to ads and now they keep harassing me for money.

Asked if it was a day care centre when i responded who are you looking for because its not - they hung up

Caller: Generally (They state) they are associated with Police via drug and school programs.

They got me years ago, they rely on generous people to advertise in their magazine for good causes, the problem is the magazine they send you as an example of one of the magazines with your sponsorship is that it is the only one with it.

They just replace the one page with your ad and no one else gets the magazine, and they only put the money in their own pocket. They used to work out of the Gold Coast.

If you can get info on the $#%@ers, be sure to let the Police and whoever know. Or break their legs. Whichever.

He stated he was from Country Wide Media, for the NSW Police Association.Raising funds for a newspaper that goes out to support the police.told him to email me the details.nothing came back.

The man with rough voice said he is a police question me about a off street car something, but the receiption was so bad , once I said I call him back he just hang up .... I think it’s fraud

Asked to speak to the business owner or was I the business owner, I said no I wish but the business owner was unavailable at the moment then she hung up

Called saying he's part of the Federal Police, who's part of the neighborhood watch. When asked which suburb this is in relation to (Work or Home) was very hesitant. Asked him also if there's a location where we can meet up to discuss further said he would have to get back to us.
