i have recieved the same message from him saying he is a single done and the item i am selling is for his son i also got a photo and medicare card he sent me an email lastnight saying money has been deposited through paypal i dont know how he did it as the comformation looks real but it kept me awake so this is how i got to this point google his name

Changed names now to Brett Guthrie & email, not smart enough to change phone numbers though

Yes received the same message. Not bothering to answer. Think it’s the same guy using a different name we had a few days ago. Daniel Tasman Michael Stedman, sent NT Licence . Thought he was scammer from get go. NEVER part with money!

He did the same thing. I actually almost fell for it as well. He caught me off guard when he suddenly wanted to just pay for it. Thank God I searched his number up first. Yous are life savers. I hope no one fell for the trap

He is still at it replying to adds form Gumtree. Interesting that he is wanting a disability scooter for his claimed son year at the same time looking for cars and motor bikes for the same claimed son. He (assumption) appears to get quite angry when challenged.

Thank you I have had two sms messages from this person, too, one three weeks ago and two yesterday, 30/Oct/24. first, one I asked if they could describe what I was selling, the make and colour, and if I was the first owner what got me thinking was that my Add states that we are the second owner I also asked if they could Quote me the price I had and the year it was made, which are all stated in my ad. I am glad I checked Google with the number 0477 685 326, and the email I had to reply to is rudekellymichael+v @ gmail.com also, he/she used a capital R when Quoting the email address. so thank you. I hope this will help other people check things out before they lose to these %%$#@## scammers.

October 4/2024 just had a txt about car I have for sale on Gumtree. Thought it was iffy so made a quick check to discover it’s a scam . Called themselves Jacinta. BE AWARE !

Received an SMS message re gumtree add. Reply to rudekellymichael+lbs @ gmail.com - They wont have a phone conversation. Asks to have only email correspondence because he/she (It changes) cant call from work. Its a common scam. Beware of this caller or sms message from this number!!

When I first saw the SMS from this number it screamed scam, but then they followed up claiming they were texting from Gumtree, idiots.
