Also just received a call from this number claiming they were from "National TAX Rebate Initiative", (my alarm bells started ringing) wondering if I had received the Info Pack they had sent out some time ago, mentioning that as a home owner with a permanent job I am entitled to up to $200 per week tax rebate from the Government. My bullsh*tometer needle nearly broke when I mentioned that it was clear they had no idea where I lived and they quoted a wrong postcode, but undaunted the very polite young gentleman with the almost lispy vocal inflection asked if I would like an Information Pack. I wonder how long that poor misguided lad will last in that job.

They keep calling and hanging up. What do they get out of it!?
Called back but got a message that states number is not available and a message with my number will be sent to them. Is that what they are after - a call back? Could they be making money from us calling back?
I have no idea how to block callers so will have to remember the number and not answer.

Have had this number call me a few times over the last couple of weeks.
First time I missed it and tried to call it back but the phone was off and the other times I answered and it was silent for a few seconds and then they just hung up.
I would suggest to block the number from your phone.

Yep, prank, I've been answering any numbers due to a stalker issue but seems this one is just a random idiot. I'm in Perth too.

I have been receiving calls from this number for ages, they claim to be able to save me money off my mortgage. I keep asking to be removed from their list, and they don't do it. I have finally blocked them, and now I am receiving calls from a different number, which I have also blocked. Surely there has to be someone they can be reported to.

They hung up as soon as I answered.
I called the number back but I get a message the say ' the number you have called is not connected, please check the number and try again'

he rings at all hours of the day , i pick up , and he or she hangs up , when i ring the number back straight away, it comes up, please cheek the number and try again. i have used a show no caller i.d / blocked number . but it still says , please check the number and try again

Just had a call from this number "confirming I had received my information pack and $50 cash which was hand delivered" ?????? Politely told her I didn't and wasn't interested and hung up. Just another time-wasting scam.

Just received a call from this number from a very polite, professional sounding Australian male, wanting to know if I've received the Info Pack they sent out. When I said "no" he said "they've been a bit slow getting them all out, but it's going out to all eligible households" Then he talked nonstop about some bullsh*t Government Initiative", and how I am entitled to up to $150 per week tax rebate from the Government. blah blah blah. I said "Well, my husband would know all about this from his financial advisor"...." Oh, he has a financial advisor? That's good, he should inform you husband then......" Yeah, yeah, yeah. He then lost interest with me and changed his tune and said he'd call tonight and speak to my husband. As if!! I've blocked the number now just in case.

This sort of Calls comes to me every Friday.
I guess these guys are sales guys who have to call other people all time just for the sake of. Selling and entering in data base to meet minimum calling list requirements .

Got call from this number about pack. There has to be a motive. Not sure what.

just had a call too from this number, she had an accent and was asking all sorts of questions regarding if im a home owner, if i worked etc.. she also mentioned the Taxation Pack or entitlement or something. I was in a panic by all the questions plus im at work so i couldnt think straight. but do not answer this call. its a scam. something very dodgy on this one.

Some silly girl, screaming down the phone at me about a information pack that was meant to be delivered to my house.
And then ranting about how my retirement will be affected and basically just yelling statements at me when I asked what are you talking about and do you even have a question. She then hangs up on me!!! Time wasting jerks

Just got the same call, claimed she was from "Core Australia" or somesuch, asking If I got my $50 and info pack , told her I had no idea what she was talking about and hung up.

Just had a call from this number but i did not answer. I called it back and it said not connected.
