They're at it again. Spam txt offering a "free" comparison for electricity bills - and we're off-grid and have been for 15 years!

I didn’t answer but will block the number. I’m getting deluged with calls but can’t prevent it on an apple device.

I believe this is a number connected with COVAU ELECTRICITY it drives me insane. I have blocked multiple numbers as they ring and hang up often. Not sure what they get out of it.

It's a scam number texting about energy bills comparison

Offering 'comparison deals', but the lack of sender identity or makes me suspicious. Previous posts confirmed suspicions. Could be malware so don't reply.
How many of these 'messages' have to go out before the telecommunications ombudsman takes note?

Sent me a text offering to compare electricity and gas prices. Asked for a Y or N reply. No identification of who the sender is. I am on the "do not call" register. SCAM for sure.

As everyone has been saying, power bill scam texts

Same as other comments- offering comparisons, but with no intro or clue as to who it is. Very dodgy approach for a proper business, so I suspected it was some scam to see if I was someone willing to reply to dodgy messages. Blocked them now, thanks to the tip-offs from people on here.

I sent back N as they said to send that to Opt out only to be sent the same text again!

Just received the same message in sms , didn’t reply then 15 mins later I received another .

I responded with "A" as a laugh, they then sent the same text. Clearly spam.

Received an SMS saying they were running a free comparison against a range of electricity and gas bills in my area and asked me to reply with a Y or N if I was interested.

received sms on 7.5.20 same message as first post. did not respond either.

Scam text said I'd "previously enquired to save money for the home/business", gives vague wording about "exclusive offers" and tells me to respond Y or N. I have not inquired anywhere about any bill savings and searching for the phone number doesn't link it to any company.
