This is NOT paypal I have received 17 CALLS ( not texts ) from this number over months. It is a scam artist of some type.
Came here looking it up as they are harassing calls, to see so many others have had them and claim its paypal, I do not believe its someone entering wrong number but someone trying to hack your account somehow. BEWARE!!!

Definitely PayPal, sending through a 2-step verification code I requested immediately prior, as per my account security settings.

I received a message saying "Kerilee Klasterka has requested $100.00 AUD from you. Pay at https://py.pl/exFhDZ" . Of course I didn't because it's a bogus Paypal site. Be very careful people!

That number is a reply service that sends out access codes as part of the Paypal Security system to access your Paypal account. If you have a Paypal account you can opt in for this service as an extra security check to stop people hacking you account. The messages are sent to the mobile phone no that you put in your account when you sign up. The message is sent to you mobile and then the code has to be entered into the sign in page before you can access you account.
