Caller: Scammer

We have a vehicle for sale on Gumtree. Within 2 minutes, got a text from this number asking us to email them. Refused & told them to email via the Gumtree site. They replied from a 2nd number of 0418 336 906 asking again for our email address. We refused & asked them to call us. Reply came back from a THIRD mobile number of 0418 213 466 saying they couldn't phone, therefore can't buy the car. All 3 numbers belong to scammers.

Your appointment has been re-scheduled to Monday the 18.11.2024 in the office at 3.30pm.

Received a text message providing a verification code for an auctionator account. Whatever that is?? No link attached so it's my guess they are expecting me to call back to ask what this is about....Don't touch it. It's a scam and a pretty dumb one at that.

Caller: NDIA Scammer

SMS from this number sets up a call from an unlisted number within 5 mins. Text says it’s NDIA setting up a plan review. They don’t work like this - BEWARE. Not National Disability Insurance Agency or NDIS.
