Caller: Message txt from NBN on my mobile Message from nbn wanting feedback, also saying you could win eGift vouchers for completing survey. There was a link to open survey and this phone number to opt out.
I did not open link as 15min before receiving this txt. I received a call on my landline. It was a recorded message saying it was National broadbands Australia, they had been trying to contact me. My NBN would be discontented. I didn’t finish listening as I knew it was scam. Believe the txt I got to be scam also.

You requested me to reply to a one minute survey regarding the NBN technician who had an appointment to connect my system on Monday 26th June, 8am to 12pm. He said he came to our house. We were waiting for him but he could not have pressed the door bell firmly enough and we did not hear him knock. Consequently he left and then sent a message. I phoned him back and he told me that he had cancelled the order and I would have to apply again. I have phoned Telstra at least a dozen times and all I get is to call back during business hours. Everyone of my calls has been during business hours. Absolutely fed up. Please arrange another visit - if you ever get around to reading this

Re 11 July 2019 SMS. That looks like a different one and not the scam offering gidt cards as prizes.

Is most probably a very sophisticated scam. I have received 11 of these messages on my mobile. Yes, it started just after I got NBN, but why are the first couple of links from LATVIA, then a few from TONGA and now AUSTRALIA. The Scammers are clearly getting clever. They must be hacking NBN's system or whatever system the y use to contact the contractors who install the lines. Or someone may just be selling your personal details on to them...

I had the same NBN message as others. I didn't click the link as it stood out as scammy. NBN are wholesalers not retailers so only your providers (iiNet etc) will have your details.

We just got NBN and then got this same reported SMS Survey shortly after, listing our address. Thus, appears very legit, apart from the nxt.to short URL (.to is for domains in Tonga). My advice is that if there's a 5% chance something is a scam, then assume it must be. Assume the scammers are getting smarter. If a company with the resources of NBN creates a customer experience survey of doubtful provenance, then they are incompetent and do not deserve the requested feedback. The origin of this survey (the source number and the link URL) is doubtful, so assume it's a scam or NBN is incompetent. Either way, play it safe and DO NOT click/respond.

Caller: Text message Legit NBN survey. I sent a tweet to Twitter verified @NBN_Australia (blue tick Twitter profile), and a staffer said they do this. Survey is long (scammers keep it simple) and didn’t ask credit card details (asked address of nbn connection if any and name and email for prize draw, already knew phone number as survey sent by text). Now if you think it’s a bit of a scam for govt.owned nbn to be spending taxpayer money surveying random people, then that’s a different matter...

Don't use the opt out option - as it just confirms that your number is active - And the scammers will on sell your number - Just use your phones block function
