You are missing the point, these people are calling harassing people who don't owe them money. If your surname is the same as someone they are looking for they will call constantly even when you have told them you do not know the person or do not have contact details for them.

I constantly receive calls from this number asking for someone with the same surname and now they have started calling my adult children, they have been told at least 30 times we do not know the person they are calling for but they keep calling. This is unprofessional and totally unacceptable. We have now blocked the number.

ive had same number for 15yrs they rang me asking for a old pals address i remember filling in a reference for a house for her 10yrs ago and thats how they got my number
