I too have received a few calls from this number. They tell me I have ordered solar panels and I have to pay for them by credit card. Uh hello, I think I would know if I have ordered solar panels. Sounds like a scam to me.

I commented about this number yesterday. I wasn't sure if this number was a scammer or not but today I think it may be. This woman has rung and messaged me multiple times today about my "solar panels", when I don't even have any. It appears that she is trying to get my personal details. Do not answer this number if you receive a missed call as it seems to encourage them to continuously call back.

I had a missed call from 0450 519 188. I then received a SMS saying "Hi this is Betty calling from Going Engineering. Could you please gimme a call regarding your solar". I thought this was a bit strange as I do not have a solar system. I rang the number back and spoke to a woman with a heavy Asian accent calling herself "Betty". "Betty" said she was following up on my solar panel installation. I said I didn't have solar panels and asked her who she was calling for. She was unable to tell me who she was calling for, only that she had my phone number on her database. She then asked if I was wanting to get solar panels. I looked up the company name on the Australian Government's business register and found no such business name. Be very wary if you receive a call from this phone number, as it may or may not be a scam, but just be careful anyway.
