They call, let it ring once and hang up - it is on purpose - the recorded message starts with "Thanks for calling us back"

Caller: “Cruise Megastore”

Most annoying scammers that keep calling even though I tell them they have the wrong person/wrong number. I asked them to stop calling me 10 times in the past fortnight. Cruise Megastore.com.au SCAM! Rude person who sounded like the biggest bogan and refused to take my mobile number of their list. Blocked number and they keep calling back on different mobile numbers. You picked the wrong person to scam with your “offers”. Will be losing complaint with Telstar for nuisance calls. Have traced your number to location in QLD and owner is R. Haze via Telstra. Avoid answering and block!!

A woman rang, I answered they asked for me by my Christian name, then when I asked to whom I was speaking they hung up.

Rang but nothing there. If it's important then they'll talk, if not then stuff them

I get a Land line call say 2 a day
I pick up
Within a few seconds, then a cut off

I believe this is how ‘they’ confirm a Live Line
And pass that on...or add to their selling lists..

Within a few hours my mobile also rings
Number demonstrated ringing..
I’ll block this one too
Bet if I ring it, it’ll show as a discontinued number as has happened many times...
I’ll check it out....

Called the number and got a voicemail saying it was the Cruise Megastore.

Rang me once, hung up and left no voicemail. Why are they calling???

When you answer the call after a few moments the caller hangs up / terminates the call

Rang for a very short time and no message left, assume spam, avoid answering.
