I unfortunately bought two pairs of Oakley sunglasses from their site which when they finally arrived were so big on my face and had this plastic stench I knew they were fakes and posted them back. The company said I will get a refund but nothing has turned up and now their website has vanished. Duped

honestly the guys at myGov(and governme nt in general) selling people's information are the real scammers rather than the actual people who send these messages.
got an email from my gov saying I had an important message about my taxes Had to sign with my actual phone number(sms verification) Turns out it was just bull crap... message was just about an irrelevant announcement.

Matt, it is your banks, your telephone companies, your insurance companies, any online quote you get and even Government departments such as medicare and now probably Human Services (ex social security). It is all hidden in the fine print of taking out policies or opening bank accounts that they share your details.
That is why I now have a junk email and a junk prepaid phone which I give all these idiots. I need my mobile for work and cannot be interrupted 30 times a day by spam phone calls. They all call my number and if they leave a message I call them back. If they don't leave a message, I know it is spam. Drastic action, but totally necessary so I can stay available for business and clients and not lose clients due to spam calls.

I had to sign up to myGov to get a few things like statements etc.. 24hrs later I'm getting spammed by this "$21 oakley Sunglasses, 2 days only" Phone number: 0455 757 903... I have called it and it goes to a "full" message bank... It is a bit suspicious that a "secure" https on government site is being netted for numbers... Also when I spoke ACMA, they weren't that interested either...
