Text message "Hi (NAME)" giving my correct name but received on my wifes phone. Rang the number but recorded message stated that the number had been disconnected.

This number appears to be a (legitimate) SMS gateway for UPS Pty Ltd. They had the correct tracking ID for my parcel.

I can confirm I received the same message, however I did hire a skip bin from Bunnings and this was legit - I would suggest someone accidentally typed in your number instead of the correct customers number, but this is a number Bunnings use.

I’ve been receiving Happy birthday messages from this number and nothing else. What disturbs me is reading all of these comments shows they scam in many different forms. Can’t work out why though. Blocked now

They offered me loans of up to $5000 - told me to visit Cash Today. There was an option to reply with STOP to opt out, which I did.

msg new my christian name & said that it has been 12 months since I cleaned my carpets......actually has been 13 months(scary), & sent link to where I could contact Britex (don't know who they are). Totally ignored it.

Received a message today that read "did you just have a wet fart". Truth.

this number message me with.....dear client,UPS,your shipment @%@%##%%,has incurred import fees of AUD228.95. you may pay through BPAY and use biller code 49676 REF#2000042538473 or through eft acct name UPS Pty Ltd BSB 242000 ACCT 105109008 CITIBANK and email your payment receipt to kkz4gyn @ ups.com ive never had anything at all shipped by UPS

Just received a text from this number - "Hi Nick" Nothing else. Nick is my partner's name. 7 days later, received another saying "Hi Nicholas".

Claims to be UPS, incurred import fee of AUS$93.95. Lists BPAY or Account details, has ups emailaddress too.
Definitely not a scam in this situation. legitimate.
