Received text telling me a pathology bill was due today and provided link to Histopath Pathology phone number together with doctor name and date of procedure - both were correct but I hadn’t received an invoice. Called Histopath using number provided (from a different phone, did not click link) and they have no record. Lucky I never click links but I imagine older people will get caught out?!?

Got a "DHL" message with a link to www.serviz.com regarding changes to a delivery. Hmmm....

Never had legal help from this company b4 & going on all the different info other people have got from this number I would say it's a SCAM

I got the same sms as well! i ordered something from Zazzle.com.au and it is coming from USA via UPS. When i got the sms i was very suspicious. The thing was, the sms had my valid tracking number that zazzle gave me. And i went onto zazzle, went to ups website myself and it did say "waiting for clearance information".
Unless im getting scammed by Zazzle itself.....
Ive risked it and emailed them just a photo of my invoice.. Lets see how it goes....

2nd text message (2 weeks later):-
Your Personal Loan account with Latitude Financial Services is overdue. Please make immediate payment or call us on 1300 733 819 to discuss your account.

When I called the 1300 number it actually went to Latitude but there is no personal loan as I have not applied for one. The team member said it was a scam and not to give any personal info over the phone to anyone.

I'd like to report that BSB 49676 is legit. It is UPS.
I've just spoke to UPS to confirm this as it was on my invoice from UPS but showed up on this site.

Messaged saying G'day can you please contact me regarding this shipment from "company name" (which I ordered from) in HK Australian customs requires your full name for clearance the suppliers invoice says "(my initials)" rgds *some dudes name* then lists the ups address and another phone number and email @ups.com

Message said "All assessments for business unit of your course due by Friday 20th or marked not competent.''

That’s SCAM!! Diffrent tracking no.on that massage! Then how they know I am using UPS and going to get some package soon? Terrible!!

It was very sketchy and they got my name right asking to send in the invoice for my order and my home address trying to trick me as I have recently ordered from us but this obviously was a scam as all other people have gotten something similar and If it was ups they would already have my info and wouldn’t ask for an invoice.

Asked to confirm a dental appointment. Didn't use correct name and this is not our dentist. Will ignore.

They’re just scammers who go under different names to try get your money. They either ask you to send money through a deposit or ask for your invoice posing as several different companies etc. they tried to scam me by pretending to be UPS

TICKET SALES PAUSED. Due to the problems this morning with the ticketing system we have stopped sales for now to solve issues. We will be in touch via email as soon as possible with next steps. We apologise for any frustration and will seek to remedy as quickly as we can.

I haven't purchased any tickets and don't know which ticketing outlet they are.

I received a msg saying that my daughter has been marked absent from school today, they used her real name. The msg was signed as coming from the school principal and also they used his real name. Scary stuff!

Also UPS

Says I need to pay for import fees then gives a Citibank bsb and account number to pay said monies into and to email receipt to another name. Checked tracking number and says its already passed customs and due in next day.

They sent a message requesting invoice information about a UPS package, however the UPS website states "the UPS does not request personal information, financial information, account numbers, IDs, passwords, or copies of invoices in an unsolicited manner through email, mail, phone, or fax or specifically in exchange for the transportation of goods or services". Don't give them any information, its 100% a scam

"My quote is expiring"

Luckily I haven't asked for any quotes for ages.
