Bob/Tony is calling about my Yellow pages ad and that I don't have a website. Wants me to call back and leave my email address to 'get the ball rolling'. Our messagebank clearly states our web address and email address in case we can't take your call. I think its a recording/ automated call because it's so generic, but don't know if he actually makes webpages or just wants to add your email to a marketing list.

Same as some other posts, on answer machine from "private number" caller id) "please call 0447 009 607 he was pushing website design and hosting etc."

Got a call from Bob Slaney today talking about how he noticed via my Yellow pages I don't have a website blah blah blah.

Tempted to SMS him back & say "if you are really working in IT, there's this thing called Google you should look into..."

I just got one of these calls.

Left a very long message, sound word for word like the ones quoted here.

Like some of the previous posters I have a web site my ansa phone says '...for all booking inquiries please go to my web site ...... bla bla ...' so the caller is either stupid or its a machine.

I also got a call this evening (after 6.30pm) from a male Bob Slaney?? Same as above, he goes on about how we don't have a website or email address and he can design a lovely website and direct us to, or email examples. As the other two people said, we too have a website and email address. It's clearly listed on Google AND Yellow Pages. No idea where this guy has got our details from but clearly not Yellow Pages.

This guy calls up and says I noticed on your Yellow pages listing that you don't have a website, it doesn't cost much these days...bla bla..

He failed to check if I actually did have a website and a pretty good one in fact.
I just chose not to have it listed with Yellow pages to stop spammers
