A number that rings with a recorded message or text messages you in regards to a missing person in your area.

I get that it's an emergency call but it won't stop re-dialing me after I hang up....

I didn't know, so I was looking it up.

I think you are one the fools, the jab is not a vaccine but rather a gene therapy it will not protect any one from Covid or the flu, but 100% destroy the immune system & will kill within 3 years if lucky, in regard to intrusion remark its very stupid for a Govt to send messages to every one for missing person, what people supposed do go look for every person who is missing

Received a text message from this unknown number. After I read the message it was an emergency alert of a missing man. The location mentioned in the text message is within my residential area. With the information provided to me made me aware of the man's description and if sighted I could inform the appropriate authorities.

They do contact you often. They keep sending the same message every 10 minutes for last 45 minutes. Bit much I think.
Same yesterday.

Dont recognize the number. Have received similar message twice now. I ignored & promptly deleted it!

sending alerts two days in a row to a Tasmanian in Tasmania about a missing person in NSW is a bit ridiculous, Not sure how many messages all up I've had from this number but NONE of them have been relevant to my location, they have ALL been about something happening in another state. The first one was a real worry, it was about an evacuation order due to fire, yet at the time there were no fires burning out of control in Tasmania..
Sending pointless emergency messages to those that do not need them is a great way to teach people to ignore such messages, has no-one heard the story about the boy that cried wolf?

"Received an SMS purporting to be about police supposedly looking for someone and a dodgy link"... It directed me to what looked like an early 2000's scam style website.

It’s a scam! They imitate news and send it to you with a link. When you check the news it’s there and police will tell which or what numbers to contact and definitely not this number!
