So, ummm, where's tne science? I mean nobody has published anything ever about having isolated sars-cov-2 from a human. Ever. In fact NSW Supreme Court violated its own rules and didn't permit discovery when faced with the issue. The funny wig man said "no rule of law here, don't you dare mention the Constitution".
You've never seen any proof of isolation either, yet you believe. That's called "religion", a cult.

I just got an SMS to this no, re a 77-yo missing in this area, with a f*c*book link supposedly to a photo. It's probably legit, but if it's a scammer spoofing the 444... number and sending a harmful link, it would be a problem. I'll just keep an eye out for a lost-looking 77-yo.

Tanya, it's not just you who gets the call. It is a mass broadcast. AFAIK they are normally narrow so it does seem unusual it turned up on your phone. Were you travelling is the logical thought. Irrespective, Police are trying to locate somebody's lost family member. Next time it may be someone you know.

I got an SMS from 0444 444 444 that says a man is missing and is of aboriginal or Torres Strait appearance and has BLUE EYES !!
Really? It's got to be a scam, and I certainly won't be clicking on the included link to a twitter URL if I did see such a person I'd contact the police direct. Blocking the number.

I agree, I have NEVER asked for your 'service' and find it intrusive and objectionable. The "NSW Police are appealing" is an oxymoron. I should know, as I am a moron! Cheers. P.S. Scammers come straight into you life, without asking!!. The NSW Police are no different!! ...and are not appealing at all...

I googled the number and the first thing that came up was Wikipedia, this is a valid number for emergencies (see link below). While the emergency may not relate to you today, DO NOT block this number it may relate to you in the future. It could be evacuation orders for out of control fires if you want to think selfishly about yourself and your property instead of missing people in your area which is why I got it. Next time you get a message at a reasonable or even unreasonable hour it could be to help protect your own life and your own property so do no block it regardless of why other people complain, yes a 4am message about a missing person maybe unwelcome, as you've been asleep and not seen anyone, but a 4am message about an evacuation order probably won't be unwelcome, so block at your own risk.

Community announcement of someone gone missing. And half hour later saying he was found. Good idea I thought.

It’s a scam. “Rosco” proves it with his unusual language. Sounds foreign.
