Same thing number called, ladies voice I could not hear clearly she spoke softly I said speak up please I cannot hear you. She said you are very loud.Then the call cut, I figured she would call back but no. SO I tried callback and I got optus informs you this number has been disconnected. Very odd.

I habve had many calls probebly every thrid day.I always miss as i have phone on silent in my office.wish i knwe how they got my number.

Just had this number call and when I answered it the man on the phone mentioned about some online competition that I had apparently entered. Knowing full well that this was a nuisance call I told him I wasn't interested, and he said "I am not trying to sell you anything", I then told him I had a similar call last week and I asked if it was about some dinner invitation. He said that it was for an "information evening". I again told him I am not interested and he asked if I had any investment properties or was paying off a mortgage, I told him I didn't and wasn't and the call was promptly ended. Don't answer. It's a nuisance call. They'll probably try to tell you that you won an iPad from the online competition you apparently entered months ago - I didn't let him get that far.

I had two calls within 13 minutes of each other last week from two numbers that have the same first 7 digits and one ends with 777 and one with 946. No message left.

Didn't recognize this number & called it back after stopping my number showing before calling back. I received message bank saying the number has been disconnected. I received 3 calls today from 3 different mobile numbers all starting with the same 7 numbers but ending in the last 3 digits being different. I'm guessing it comes from a call center.

I've received several call, no one answered and then when I call back Optus says "call disconnected". So I've blocked this call.

It happened to me too.

Lady said she was calling from Custodian with an invitation to some property investment seminar. She started the conversation by saying that she 'wasn't calling to sell anything'. Told her I was not interested and she tried to continue the conversation. Stopped her and hung up.

yep. same here. they finally left a message - a second of silence.
and ditto for the same first 7 digits.

I received a call from this number - I let it ring out... then when I called it back - a recorded voice from telstra said this number has been disconnected ( ..very strange ! )
