Ben, of A + Signs located at 548 Boundary Road Archerfield, phone number 0431 006 792 (whom is too cowardly to publish his Surname or Business name in his defamatory comments) was a one off customer of my Business. We verbally agreed that I would remove aluminium from his Business premises and he requested that I also remove some old rusty steel sign frames. I informed him that I could not pay him any money for the sign posts as they would cost me money to remove. I removed them for free. In order to pay Ben for his aluminium, I am legally obliged to obtain his Business ABN Number, his full name and address, date of birth and his driver's licence number. He refused to give it to me and as such I cannot legally pay him as he wanted the money in cash with no receipt. My Business is a reputable business that has been operating for over twelve years and this is the only incident of this type that I can recall. Ben's conduct in relation to this matter is unlawful and Ben, upon production of the above mentioned identity details has been free to collect his money at any time but has failed to do so. He has been told this numerous times. I have offered to deliver the money to him but he has declined over a period of almost 18 months.
I demand that Ben immediately cease and desist his allegations within the same public forum in which he made them. I demand that Ben offers a retraction of his comments within a period of 7 days otherwise legal action will be taken to stop him from uttering scandalous, unfounded and defamatory allegations in a public arena.
