Message from “Telstra” telling me to go online and advise them about a third party device using my extras of my phone bill! Completely legit SCAM!

is this for real, I just got a text from this number saying there are online bookings now available at doctors and to down load app

"Amber, just a reminder of your appointment with us tomorrow 29/08/2017 at 10:00AM. The Salvation Army Employment Plu Cockburn Central 13 61 23."

I thought maybe Centrelink hadn't updated my details but in saying that, I have not received any communication from Centrelink directly about this. My name is Amber, I live in the Cockburn shire and I know that you can volunteer (work for the dole) at the Salvos. Pretty worried whoever this is has my name and knows I live very close to Cockburn central.

Attempt to get me to change my PIN at Qantas with number to ring. A later message from another number said I had changed my PIN and gave a different number to ring which also appears to be another scam number. Bludgers! I have more to do with my time than seek out scammers.

However I don't have an account with CSC.

Supposedly, Essential Energy notifying me of an upcoming power outage in South Grafton, and advising me to check http://bit.ly/[...] for more information. Yeah, right. I'm not a customer, and I live nowhere near South Grafton.

It says "Because your Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology invoice is now overdue, we use SMS as a convenient reminder. I reckon is a scam.

Help employment

Allegedly from QANTAS suggesting my PIN has been reset, but I have no QANTAS-associated PIN numbers.

got a txt message saying they had a job for me never heard of them

Sms reminder that my online form (department of housing) was expiring.
