I was just scammed $600

This guy has recently ripped off many people including me and my friend in a ticket-selling scam. We paid him over $400 for Laneway Festival tickets and could not contact him after the payment, when we were expecting to receive our tickets via email.

If you type his name into google you'll find a page enlisting dozens of other complaints about this guy scamming them in the same situation; the police and banks have been informed so now we are trying to find out exactly who this guy is so we can get our money back and put him in his rightful place.

It'd be really great if you could inform me in any way as to how you know him; according to the police he uses many fake names and so it's hard to find out who he actually is.

Got scammed $430 by this guy for supposed laneway festival tickets, am in major shock and regret and am hoping the police can do SOMETHING. But so far doesn't look too good :( he Messaged me and my friend on two numbers different to all of these listed but the money was mobile banked to one of them so I don't understand how they can't find him - will just have to hope. He used two different numbers But From the looks of things it doesnt Even matter what Number hes used. Have seen police about it but I guess it's the same story with a lot of people on here ; he saw our gumtree ad and were unfortunate enough to fall for his bullsh*t. Am VERY keen on finding this f*cker with all of you and getting our money back

I got scammed today $420 for 4 Sydney laneway tickets. I posted an ad on gumtree and he messaged me giving me an offer of the tickets. He tricked me into believing he was legit, and cut me off completely after transferring the money. I contacted the police this afternoon and there is a chance I could get the payment reimbursed from the bank, however this guy desperately needs to be caught. It isn't fair that people like him have to ruin everything for us.

I was scammed $450 from this guy, I'm going to report to the police tomorrow. This guy needs to be caught, this has happened for far too long it seems.

Got scammed by him ( James Zombolas) for $720.00 for Mens Qtr Final Aus Open Ticket. Have lodged an official complaint with the police. Must get this "crook" arrested very soon. His mobile number he exchanged with us was 0499 273 485

Brodie - are you serious? how is it his dad's fault that his son is a scumbag? Parents do the best they can to raise their kids in the best way they see fit, once the child becomes an adult, he/she knows right from wrong (heck even a 5 yr does!) this is not the fathers fault, he is prob. some poor pensioner picking up after his dropkick of a son. I too have been ripped off from this waste of space of a poor excuse for a human being, and I have filed a police report, there are afew reports against him and the more that get put forward, the better chance we all have of catching him. ANZ are also on the case, and have filed a claim against him for me to get my money back. There are other avenues of getting your money back other than chasing his loved ones.

Rob, If you check the reverse of his ID you can see a sticker which says the address is 7/50 Fitzroy street. Neither of these addresses seem to be genuine anyway.

This guy has just scammed me for 2 x Aus Open tickets. I have made a police report to Melbourne East police station today. This guy will be found eventually. The police officers were very interested in this case as they said there were many other people in my situation recorded in their system. I feel a bit better about losing $180 now that I know that I'm not the only one. Make sure you report it if you get done too. The other phone number is 0499 273 485.

Got scammed for 600. Did everyone get that his address on the ID was 24 Crofton street? Whether its his real ID or not. Someone should check that out

he used a number 0499 273 485 to sell me tennis tickets. I sent him a fake moneygram number, good thing i checked on this page before i paid him any money. he was willing to negotiate the ticket price well below the market rate.

Got scammed by him for $600 on the tennis tickets. Have called police, hopefully onto him soon. Did everyone get that his address was 24 Crofton road, Geelong? Don't know if he's be stupid to give us his actual ID. But maybe the cops should go check that house out?
