hey yeah I got in contact with his father who gave me the money, he said he will no longer be paying his sons debts though. You will need to go to the police or threaten him otherwise you might not get it back.

What happened to purchasing tickets via a reputable company that specializes in selling tickets for events, sorry but who buys tickets off gumtree & actually expects this not to happen. As for those whom are involving his family members & speaking ill of his past mother is just beyond humane. This guy is old enough to be held accountable for his own actions pathetic way to obtain your money back by his father? For god sake people learn from your mistakes do not purchase anything or transfer any money until you receive the goods or are sure that the seller does not have a reason to do such as what all you people are publicy complaining about. Makes you wonder why an electrical engineer would need to rip any of you dumbasses off unless there was a need to it's easier to place the blame n chase his father. The police have verbally stated that he needs to be turned in personally & which the instigator SHE is the reason this once intelligent young man is in this horrible situation blame urself for purchasing tickets elsewhere other than ticketek or ticketmaster not gumtree duh!!!

This guy scammed me right on New Year's Day for over $120 worth of festival tix thru moneygram transfer. Downright Scumbag. It is James Zombolas, as the mobile number he used is the exact same on his personal records. I can't reveal where I work as it'll jeopardise my job, but how on earth this guy is using his real name & getting away with it is beyond ridiculous. He must be stopped immediately. I'll be in Melb in a few weeks & will lodge a report with police. I suggest for everyone to do the same, we all have to take a stand & get this guy to show shameless face up.

I just had the same guy try and do the same thing to me. He saw my gumtree 'wanted' advert. He was going to sell me NYE tickets but was 'In Melbourne for work but would post them and give me copies of his license and medicare card'....

Only reason to defend as such in the logical manner gumtree isn't a reputable company and you must therefore endure dealing with all types of people trust isn't a warranty on anything now days. Enforcers have known about this far too long and let it continue to happen. No I don't have any reason to want to rip off innocent people trust me I am not thy just another average innocent citizen such as yourself but I personally wouldn't purchase tickets off gumtree I did though purchase rims from there and had best service from the seller so guess some are just unlucky if they chose to purchase tickets from a site that is the public selling u goods

i have access to information from a credit check for this bloke. he scammed $600 off me for killers tickets almost 2 months ago. lodged a police report and have my cops number. nsw police said it may be difficult as they need to liase with victoria police. i havent heard anything back and this was from december. i have every available detail on him including new ones from what people have posted in this thread. feel free to email me on egan9191 @ hotmail.com. i want this c*nt in jail for fraud. whether i get my money back or not he has to pay.
