from unknown caller sending text about job network provider and centrelink, called back number has been "disconnected" within 1 minute..scam.

Caller: Claimed to be representing Max Employment

It is suspicious that people are getting "reminder" texts from this number for very different services and departments, such as job network providers, flood watch, and blood banks.
My reminder was for something I had no knowledge of, and was received the day after the alleged appointment, saying it was "tomorrow"
I am not on Newstart or registered with Max Employment.
I ignored it.
There is something fishy, or perhaps phishing about this number.

I am on an age pension, not Newstart. I received a text from this number "reminding" me to attend an appointment at Max Employment THE PREVIOUS DAY. The number included in the text was the correct number for that office.
