Got a call from this number which was a recorded message when I answered telling me my landline and internet will be cut off in 24 hours because of the NBN network and to press 1 to speak to the technician. This number is listed as a mobile for a telstra customer. Can these scammers kidnap a person's mobile number now? This is fraud and illegal to "hijack" australian listed numbers, but there seems to be no one that can do anything about this Fraud committed, no matter which government listed or private body you contact about it. What are we supposed to do about these scammers.
