Hi Don, Don't think it would have been been legit. Look at the times noted, from 11.00pm to 7.08pm on the one particular day. I have also had an email a few days ago and today I have had a text message. I phoned Telstra when I got the email and they said it wasn't from them. I hope nobody falls for their tricks and gets themselves stung.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra Text Message claiming to be Telstra, they'd sent a proposed resolution to my email - no emails received. Called the number back, only to have the robot answer that this number is disconnected?

Caller: Telstra SMS regarding NBN outage. Also received email about same event. Both had valid links to Telstra outage site. Probably legit.
