SMS message saying it was from UniSuper and my phone number has been updated. Said if I didn't make the changes to contact UniSuper immediately, with link to their number provided. It was UniSuper's legit number and I do have an acc with them. I suspected a Scam, so didn't click on number and called UniSuper. There has been no request to change my number.

Caller: 0436 597 000 Said calling from Telstra using (07) 3455 4861, asked for my personal details: BD, Address,...
When I asked them to verify their identity with a SMS, they sent me the below text from using 0436 597 000
“Hi, from Telstra. We have an update regarding your nbn order, reference number 1-2777767158762. Please reply with a suitable date and time for us to call you. Standard SMS charges may apply. Thanks.”
I told him to stop calling me or I will report him to cyber police. SCAMMER

Caller: Not sure SMS started "Greetings from Telstra..." Strange, from them. Said have resolution to case #, but though I recently lodged a complaint re inability to log into email, I have not received a case #. They say they have a resolution, like to discuss by email (odd!), and I can use a different email to contact him; I can contact him on - earlbenson.teves @ teamtelstra.com (now that's a strange email for a Telstra team member!). I can contact him "8am to 5pm AEST Monday to Friday, including tomorrow" - which happens to be Saturday?? The SMS was sent 6:09pm Friday - so obviously this poor fellow is working late, and also working on Saturday, even though his hours are "8-5 Mon-Fri". Do I think this is a scam? Definitely!! Either Telstra has been hacked, or perhaps some of their foreign workers are messing around with Telstra customers!

I received a text message from this number after I complained at telstra support about nuisance calls/text and hacking issues, informed me that they have proposed resolution so asked me to check my mail. tried calling the number twice it said the number is not connected. searched the number up and reverse call look up showed 12 complains.
