I tried to do a health insurance comparison online. They won't proceed unless you provide your details. I provided the details of my homeline which i rarely use. The health comparison people tried another number then this one. I do not wish to speak on the phone. I want to do my comparisons online, and CALL THEM if I am still interested. This kind of selling really sucks and I would love to see something done about it by our powers that be! The callers are no better than Nigerian and Indian scammers.

I got 2 calls within 2 hours, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. When I called back I got a answering maching for a health insurance comparison company.
I did an online comparison, keyword being online - if I wanted to speak to them I would of called. Will be blocking this number.

2 numbers they have called from in two days. 0435 210 611 and 0411 443 823 if you don't answer one, they'll try with another. Sales person was pushy, and ridiculed me when I told him I wasn't interested.

I got call from 0411 443 823 and also 0432 401 942 , 0403 236 589, (03) 4216 5529, 0481 1542 923, 0466 407 528, 0488 862 100, 0402 296 257. Hope they keep wasting their money!!

These health comparison guys I’d say are using multiple different numbers to try and contact people because I had blocked a number that claimed to belong to this health comparison company and then had a call from this number and read comments to find that they were the same people trying to contact me via a second number.

They’re trying to get tricky, using another mobile number ‭0411 443 823‬ for the last few days, which I blocked. I called this number back and got through to the Health Insurance Online call centre & told them I had a missed call from them. “Oh yes, so we were helping you choose health insurance you on Friday morning.” No, your creepy guy called me whilst I was still on the website and I told him I wasn’t interested!

I told this guy again I wasn’t interested and to take me off their list. He said “Sorry about that, I must’ve pressed the wrong button”. WTF does that mean? I’ll be interested to see if they try again with another new number in the next few days - I’ve blocked this one!

I got a call of some real Aussie sounding man saying “is this Amy” I said no” and then he said sorry wrong number and hung up... very weird as I just got a new number and no one has it

I received a call from 0435 210 611 today and the said "is this Kylie?" (or some other name - a name I don't know) and I said "no" and they said "ok, thanks I must have the wrong number" and hung up - what's going on with this number?
I called the number back and it was a recorded call saying "the number you have called is from a health insurance provider, you should have received an email from us" I don't recall being online for any health insurance provider as my health insurance is covered by the company and I'm not looking for health insurance. Is it their call centre 'logging calls' to get their KPIs? I've now blocked the number.

Health Insurance Comparison. When I told the caller that I was fine, he said "what was the point of you accessing the website then? What did you expect to get out of it?" I don't even remember accessing the website. Very rude!

I tucked the box to say I DID NOT want to be contacted and they are still ringing me! These bastards should be fined for thus harassing behaviour. They are not going to convince me to deal with them by harassing me.

This number has been calling for the last two weeks on mobile. Today they called my home phone number which I never use for anything, we mainly keep it for our parents to call on as they keep forgetting that we have mobile numbers. I do know that I haven’t done a health fund comparison. As I am very happy with the health fund that I am with.

They are still at it. Called my mobile yesterday, and when I answered, nothing. I blocked that number yesterday, after checking it out on this site, and now a different number today, which is now blocked.

got the call from this number the lady was very rude when i asked why she was calling, i didnt ask for them to call me? from now on i will be putting in false numbers if i ever use comparison sites again, this number is now blocked from calling me

Thank you all. The advertising for health insurance comparisons actually appeared in an SBS -just-in format and could be confused as originating from SBS. This could be considered fraudulent advertising.
