got a call from iSelect Australia on this number 0435 051 559

filled out Iselect health insurance comparison, then 1 min later I get a call from this number. They didn't leave voicemail. I DIDNOT request a call from them. I simply wanted to use their online comparison service. Unsolicited calls are not welcome or answered. number now blocked and they've turned me off signing up. Well done ISELECT

Previous comments indicate it was iSelect which makes sense as yesterday I was researching health insurance although I didn't request a call-back from anyone.

Scam?

I have been getting about 5 calls a day from 0435 numbers. No message left, I block them all and another 0435 number calls later.
I have not had anything to do with iselect so it could be any spammer

iSelect called me from this number to try get me to sign up to heath insurance

iSelect have called me numerous times over the last couple of weeks as I had gone online to compare Health Insurance. I kept blocking the number so they would call from a different number the next time. I had selected for them NOT to call me so they called me anyway and wanted to know why I didn't want them calling me. I will never use them after this.

I didn’t even sign up to iselect but they’ve been plaguing me with unsolicited calls for months.

iSelect calls you when ever you use their service to look at Insurance comparisons. Once I knew it was them I answered their second call and was polite and said thanks for calling but I don't need any more information. I have since received about another 7 calls from various 0435 numbers one of which I answered to ask them to stop calling me and they ghosted me and didn't say anything. They act like petulant children making prank calls because people don't want to be force fed a policy change that they get a kick back off, so they continue to ring and ghost people because it gives them some childish satisfaction. Said that the Executive of this company likely know about this from social media and they let it continue.

I keep getting calls from this number but nobody speaks when I answer. I also filled in a form for iselect but I don't recall giving them my mobile phone number. I did not request to be called.
