I got a text message which used my first name. It asked me to click on a link (that looked like a scam). I have assumed it is a scam. Hope this info helps others.

The "you've won a prize in an unknown competition for god knows what"; just click on this link so we can steal your phone info/ID etc.

"I got laid off work 2 weeks ago. click here and all your dreams will come true."

yeh Right. Block, delete

The fact they used my name meant I actually thought it was work related and almost clicked on it! Beware
