I didn't respond either way as I would not have asked anyone previously about electricity as I have been with the same provider since 2005. The text didn't say who it was from.

Same as other reports, scam electrical provider. Oddly I got a missed call from a landline about an hour before this turned up.
Don't respond with Y or N that just means they know its a live number, just report to scamwatch and then block.

Scam alert!!!

SMS received from 0434 412 204 . All about so called savings on gas & electricity. Same as previous. Also gave a landline (02) 9159 9364 but there are similar warnings. ABN search of Australian Bill Compare shows this to be a trading name of CORPORATE GROUP AUS PTY LTD on the Gold Coast. I cannot say for sure if these are connected.

Same message as above complaints. Caller now blocked. Never enquired about changing providers. Tried calling number back from my landline and can't get through. Scammers.

Completely unsolicited, didn’t reply either way so as not to confirm my number.

Replied to number N to opt out. Received 3 more messages the same within an hour.
Can’t call number back.

Exactly the same message received as above. Received by my work phone that I would never had to a company for personal reasons. Just delete and move on. Do not respond either way.

THESE ARE DEBT COLLECTORS. IT IS A NEW SCAM TO GET YOU TO RESPOND YES OR NO. IF YOU SAY YES YOU ARE INTERESTED THEY WILL CONTACT YOU AND CONFIRM WHO YOU ARE. AVOID THEM. THEY ARE FULL BLOWN SCAMS. The message is coming from an iPhone (imessage) not an automated service

I have made no enquires, and they didn’t declare the organisation they are from. Legit messages wouldn’t be anonymous. You be able to look up the organisation, contact them independently and verify. DO NOT RESPOND.
