Caller: Older sounding lady

Hi, Iv just had the same thing, older lady has called and said iv signed up and agreed to some sort of advertising to support the fire-fighters or something then had an invoice come through shortly after with the same discount and have been contacted a couple times trying to get paid over the phone for another 10% discount. How did it end up working out for you?

Tried to get me (my company) to advertise in The Firefighters Relief Journal on two occasions and to pay immediately over the phone. I think she called from a different number the first time. Started getting quite assertive on the second call. I said I was busy working and wouldn't pay anything until I saw a tax invoice. The invoice arrived shortly after from 'admin @ thefirerelief.com.au' which rang bells immediately. It also had the words "THIS IS NOT A BILL. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY ANY MONEY" at the top of it which rang more bells. The Description read "The Firefighters Relief Support Advertisment" and it included a generous $93.85 discount!! All up they were asking for $511.15 (with the discount).
