Caller said I had registered to be a mystery shopper (which I hadn't) and that they had a quick survey for me to do. I declined and hung up.

Said I signed up as a Mystery Shopper. Knew my old email address and my old name then said I’d get $50 for someone to come out for 25 minutes and I’d get $50 for my time. Asked if I was a homeowner, mine and my partners income, our address and our ages. Of course I gave them all fake information. Not sure if anyone turning up tonight for my $50 presentation as I gave an old friends address from 20 years ago lol!!

This is for those who searched for this number on the internet. My wife is the current owner of the mobile number 0430 504 464. Unfortunately, she is the victim of a phone spoofing scam which we believed originates from India. (One of our auntie claimed she received a call from the number and the scammer pretended to be my wife, quite a coincidence)

Please DO NOT call back the number because measure has been taken to block all calls. The mobile network nor police could do anything with this type of scam as it is happening from oversea.

Number came up with 6161 (twice our international code) before the appropriate mobile sized number for Australia. No voicemail message left of course.

I called back number reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Got the same mystery shopper thing, with $50 thing. Guy who came was from Financial Pulse, screening for self managed super fund prospects.

Don’t believe the person claiming their wife owned this number!! It’s probably from the scammers. Why do I say that? We don’t spell the word Aunty as Auntie as they did in their message in Australia!!

This lady was Chinese sounding and said I had signed up for a Mystery Shopper exercise. She claimed I could earn $50 by participating in some mystery shopping. I declined. I said I had never signed up for anything like this.

The lady said it was OK and that most people forget what they sign themselves up for. I politely declined and said I would not go further. She then hung up

Was told I applied for a Mystery Shopper job a month ago and that I could earn $50.00 for this survey. When I question her she became very rude so I hung up on her. I believe they are after your bank details, how else will they "pay you" the $50.00.

Multiple calls didn't answer. But one I did said I'd been in an car accident. I said no and hung up.

Caller: Telemarketer / Nuisance Call

They left a message with no greeting, just bad sounds of call centre noise in background whilst typing away on a keyboard. Then they hung up. Definitely do not answer this call.
It came from a sophisticated scamming caller Id with double international call prefix +61 61

Rang & hung up

Activated the phone message but did not leave a message.

Caller: No idea

They rang five times in quick succession. I rang back and got an answer message but no idea of who they are.

I told them I am on a "Do Not Call" Register and they shouldn't be calling me.
I said goodbye and hung up.
