Caller: Fake Telstra

Claimed to be Telstra with big bill discounts. They knew the email associated with my phone number, and very concerningly I got a message on my authenticator app right before the call came in that someone was trying to access that email. I confronted them about 2min into the call but I imagine these 'big discounts' might have needed me to approve the authentication!

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Claimed to be Telstra offering an 80% discount off my mobile. Unfortunately for them I’m not with Telstra.

Indian lady spoke gibberish I answered but didn't speak, they hung up.

Caller: Claiming to be Telstra

Indian lady claiming to be from Telstra asking if I had any problems with my internet connection, then offered me 40% off my Telstra account. When I explained to her that I didn’t understand why she was making this offer to me as I don’t have a Telstra account, she quickly said goodbye and hung up.
Conclusion. Scammer.

Second time this mob have tried- same as the others- Indian claiming to be from Telstra offering big discounts-40% of my phone bill- knew my email - blocked

Caller knew my name and claimed to be from Telstra. Asked if I had any issues with my service, then when I said I wasn't with telstra tried to say many of our customers have moved away and wanted to know who.

When I said Indian telecom she stuttered a bit and then said i have the wrong number.

Indian lady claiming to be from Telstra ... worryingly knew my name. I advised I don't have any accounts with Telstra and hung up whilst she was still talking

Caller: Scammer- fake telstra

Asked for verification code, likely a scam to use your number to sign up for a google voice account to scam more people. Don’t trust them!!
