Called twice today, once at 6.10pm and next at 6.31pm. Didn't pick up and no message was left each time. Have now blocked the number.

Research calls legal from 9am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday

Every night this week, this same number, just after 6pm QLD time. I answered on the third night, just because I was sick of them calling, but I didn't speak, just waited for them to speak, they hung up.

Called twice in the evening. Didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a message.

2 missed calls by this number tonight with no voicemails left. Blocked.

First time rang, I ignore. 15 minutes later rang again, I picked up, but no voice, then disconnected. Blocked straight away.

No one spoke when phone was answered

Calls often and doesn't leave a message. Guessing it's a spam or scam. Having a Telstra Call Gaurdian home phone set helps stop these calls being as annoying as my phone doesn't ring unless they pass the screening, it just shows up in the missed calls list. I can then add them to the blocked list. They call even though we are on the do not call register.

Market research isn't a scam. I recommend you go and look up what a scam is, and use words correctly. It's 100% legal for market researchers to call you any time between 9am and 9pm. I recommend you educate yourself about that, too.

I used to work in telecommunications (you obviously never have, based on your complete lack of understanding re what Telstra can and can't do). Telcos won't stop perfectly legal market research companies from calling you during the designated hours allotted to do so. Sometimes Telstra are the people employing the market research companies to carry out the surveys.

Here's an idea - don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers in the evening, if you're the type of person liable to carry on like a pork chop over a survey. Just reject the call. If it's important, they'll text or leave a voicemail.
