Caller: Supposedly Telstra

Answered the call with a curt "hello" then waited to hear what they had to say. They said nothing but I could hear the noise of a call centre; then someone said something about our internet connection. They (Indian) said our surname but I did not speak to them and the call cut off. Nothing wrong with our internet - yet another scam/nuisance call.

Caller: Male caller

Male caller with an Indian accent said he was from Telstra Technical Dept. I hung up on him

Called my home phone number. Hung up as soon as answer machine picked up the call.

Caller said that she was from Telstra Technical Department. Told her I didn't have the internet! Typical background noise emulating a busy office. Asked her for my Telstra account number which she could verify for me!!!
