Looks like a phishing scam to see if my number is still active. I gave to a certain charity years ago but after hearing negative stories, stopped giving. Now there's a suspicious link or opt-out reply STOP.
If this is genuine, charities discredit themselves by predatory behaviour towards donors, even decades after being told to p*** off.

Caller: Medical practice/Car service centre

I have had at least two messages from this number. Both were confirming legitimate appointments with different organisations. It seems that this number must be linked to a messaging service that is used by different businesses. It seems from the other comments that some use it for good, others not so!!

Got a message claiming to be my partner and he be home soon

They knew my name and if you read all the messages - they use same number but all different messages and approaches - mine was Hi and my name asking if I wanted to do a free webinar. So they must know what you look at - as I feel it’s targeted to what you view 200% - DO NOT TOUCH the link.

Caller: Spam Text message

Received a message from unknown company with a dodgy link:

Our Click Frenzy sale is almost over. Get 40% OFF our top selling selected fragrances. Start shopping!

Ignoring, since there’s no business name attached to this number and haven’t received anything prior from it.

Received a random message for boutique residences on lower north shore for viewing appointment - scam

Got a random message from this number saying 'No thanks edward'

Caller: spam

spam bot, "australia post inform you that payment still pending......bla bla bla, click here" so that you can get infected by virus

Pretending to be a Car Dealership so It looks like the scammers have access to rego numbers and Dealership Names so they send a text, asking you to "Confirm" it's Service booking, it's a Scam don't click anything, just delete and block- Ring and speak to the Dealership if you want to confirm or make a booking.

Caller: Received a message

Received a message from this number who are reporting that a car has been serviced and is ready for pickup, I remember the plate number because I worked for a company called statewide cleaning cloth and the bosses name is Bill and by the sounds of it is putting cars in previous employers names to get away with not paying for it. The message supposedly came from Sutton's Service, Parts & Sales. Needing my name taken away from this immediately as it's not my vehicle belongs to Statewide Cleaning Cloth.

Bought a car from these muppets 10 years ago, and they are still texting me this rubbish!! Messaged STOP, but they wont give up!
